Delivery/Shipping times

Standard service

We aim to despatch all orders received prior to 2.00pm on the same day (Mon-Sat). Orders received after this time will be despatched the next day. Sunday/Bank Holiday orders will be despatched on the following day. You will be notified by e-mail once your order has been despatched. We deliver via Royal Mail Post. Using this method delivery is normally 2-4 working days for UK addresses and 3-7 working days for orders outside of the UK.

Special Delivery via Royal Mail for next working day service

We use the Royal Mail Special Delivery for guaranteed next working day delivery to UK mainland addresses - Saturday/Sunday orders will be delivered by Tuesday using this method.

Delivery/stock issues

If for the unlikely reason that an item is out of stock when an order has been placed, (ie when two people order a single item at the same time) we will endeavour to contact you and put an item onto back order pending receipt from our supplier. You have the right to cancel prior to us delivering a back order and your Credit card will be credited at your request, so long as a back order has not been despatched. If there are any issues with your order we will contact you via e-mail or telephone, if you have provided your telephone no.

Delivery/Shipping costs

Orders over £40 are delivered free in the UK mainland. Orders below £40 for delivery in the UK mainland will be subject to a £2.95 charge to cover postage & packing.

For Royal Mail Special Delivery guaranteed next working day orders received prior to 2pm in the UK the charge is £4.95 extra, over other delivery charges, if any, for all orders up to 2kg. In the unlikely event of an order exceeding 2kg we will contact you to let you know of any additional delivery charges.

Costs for delivery outside of the UK

Peapods uses Royal Mail Postal services for Worldwide deliveries outside of the UK. This service offers delivery within 3-7 working days from despatch from ourselves. The charges for this for packages of up to 1kg (2.2lbs) are as follows;

Channel Islands & rest of UK outside of mainland £20

Europe £25

USA and the Rest of the World £30

If a package is heavier than 1kg we will contact you if there is an extra charge prior to shipment.
